Pixel-art dungeon crawl scene We melt down every boss fight, patch note and pixel worth arguing about.

No score-chasing hype. Just honest reviews, frame-perfect speedrun breakdowns and indie gems dug out of the bargain bin — written by people who actually finish the games.

About the crew

A dungeon of takes, run out of a Hornby Street loft.

What started as a group chat rage-quitting the same roguelike turned into a 40,000-reader publication. We cover PC, console and handheld — from AAA launch dissections to weird itch.io experiments most outlets never touch.

Every review runs after a full playthrough, never a preview build. If a game is padded, buggy or quietly brilliant, we say so — in plain words, with receipts.

How a post is made

From first boot to published verdict.

STEP 01

Full playthrough

We beat the campaign, chase the side content and log hours before a single word is written — no early-access half-takes.

STEP 02

Tech pass

Frame pacing, load times, input lag and crash logs get captured across the platforms readers actually own.

STEP 03

Draft & debate

Two editors argue the score. If we can't agree, that tension goes straight into the piece instead of a tidy number.

STEP 04

Publish & update

Posts ship with clip evidence, then get revisited when major patches change the verdict months later.
